Having a baby can be one of the most exciting things that can happen to you, however you might be feeling nervous as well. If it’s your first baby, it’s hard to know what to expect.
Many expectant parents have questions and concerns as they face all the changes that come with being pregnant. What should I be eating? Is it normal to be this tired? What does this mean for my relationship with my partner? For work? What should I know about childbirth? Preparing to be a parent? Sometimes a pregnancy is unplanned and you may be unsure how a child will fit into your life.
You may be getting advice from your family, coworkers, friends, the internet, or magazines and books. All of this advice can be overwhelming and it’s hard to know which information is accurate and up to date.
In this section, we hope you find the information and support you need, whether you are planning a pregnancy or already expecting a baby (or babies!).
Also available for Perth County residents is our booklet called “Your Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy”. It’s free and full of credible, evidence-based, up-to-date information on how to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. It is information you can trust. Ask your Health Care Provider or contact Health Line for your copy.
