Health Unit Looking for Dog Involved in a Biting Incident in St. Marys

St. Marys – The Perth District Health Unit is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident in St. Marys to complete an investigation. The incident took place on Monday, September 3rd, 2018, at 11:30 am, in Sparling Bush, near Sparling Crescent. The dog is described as a small, white dog being walked on a leash by a young woman, who was also walking a medium-sized, dark-haired dog.

The Health Unit is investigating this incident to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. If the dog is not found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.

The Perth District Health Unit reminds people to always obtain the contact information of the owners of the animals involved in a biting incident.
