Health Unit Looking for Dog Involved in a Biting Incident in Stratford

Stratford – The Perth District Health Unit is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident in Stratford to complete an investigation. The incident took place at approximately 12:30 pm on Thursday, March 1st near the Stratford Festival on the Avon River walking path.
The dog was leashed and walking with a middle-aged woman wearing a white coat. The dog is described as medium, large-sized, dark in colour with pointed ears and wearing a red vest.
The Health Unit is investigating this incident to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. If the dog is not found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
