Stress in Children
Stress is normal and some stress in our lives is necessary to feel alert and energized. However, too much stress can interfere with our ability to do normal tasks. Stress in a child's life can lead to feelings of insecurity, helplessness and can have a negative impact on a child's life. Children may experience stress due to a number of factors including school pressures, bullying, family separation or divorce, moving or the death of a loved one.
