Healthy Living Perth
Healthy Living Perth is a community coalition of organizations and individuals that work in partnership to support and initiate programs in schools, recreation facilities, health service agencies and community groups.
The primary focus of our project is to promote healthy living through physical activity, healthy eating and smoke-free living with a secondary focus on the prevention of chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, Type II diabetes and some forms of cancer.
Healthy Living Perth is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion through the Ontario Heart Health Program - Taking Action for Healthy Living. The Perth District Health Unit and community groups match provincial funds through in-kind contributions.Healthy Living Perth Steering Committee
