According to Transport Canada, 2001, one third of Canadian children are not properly restrained when they are traveling in motor vehicles. Choosing the right car seat for your child can be a challenging task. Cross Border Shopping and Car Seat Safety
Buying your car or booster seat across the border is a big mistake! Car and booster seats purchased outside of Canada do not meet Canadian standards and are therefore not legal to use in Canada. Only car or booster seats that have the National Safety Mark can be used in Canada and these seats can only be purchased in Canada.
