Health Unit Looking for Dog Involved in a Biting Incident in St. Marys

St. Marys – The Perth District Health Unit is looking for a dog involved in a biting incident in St. Marys on Queen Street near the Toronto Dominion (TD) Canada Trust Bank, to complete an investigation. The incident took place at 10:15 pm on Saturday, August 11th, 2018. The dog was being walked by a couple who said they were from Stratford. The dog is described as a medium-sized white dog with short hair.
The Health Unit is investigating this incident to check if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots. If the dog is not found, the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
